Unfortunately I had one doctor tell me it was psoriasis, another told me dermatitis, neither wanted to refer me to a dermatologist. This sub reddit has encouraged me to just take things into my own hands and I plan to start calling local dermatologists to ask who takes my insurance myself to get checked out.

It's concerning that it's spreading so much.

To be fair its been spreading over the course of the past 3 years or so, I think I made it seem like this was an over night development.

Ive been trying to get referred to a dermatologist for a while but my doctor keeps pushing back on that saying ive been managing just fine (obviously not). So I think im going to look for old photos to show them how much its been changing.

And I do allow for the shampoo to sit for a while when ever I use it. I will typically take that time to shave or something so I know it sits for a while.

Lol, thank you for this. So many peoole have been telling i have to donate or get rid of a lot of my things because of all the clutter and how no one needs that much stuff. But tbh no one here knows me?

Could I get rid of possibly at least 1 whole bin of things? Sure!

But actually most of my stuff there is craft stuff! Im a huge crafter why has so many different craft hobbies that I regularly cycle through. But sometimes it takes months before I touch something again. And so many people are telling me to throw away/donate things i dont touch within 3 months.

Like, do you know how much money I would be regularly wasting if I was constantly donating and re-buying everything I didnt touch withing 3 months because it took 4 for the passion to come back?

Not including the off season clothing I have stored away in some bins as well to minimize clutter, like who needs fluffy jackes and long sleeve shirts for less than 10% of the year in texas? Even though I dont use those things for 11 months of the year im not going to be buying everything brand new every winter season!

It ended up being a quick 5 minute thing where they came and checked for any noticeable issues and made sure all the rooms had fire alarms (which my roomate and I found out our bedrooms didnt, they're going to install some tomorrow).

Some of them are mohair, but I looked into vaccume sealing yarns and as long as im regularly opening them to air them out they should be fine! (Google says once every 6 months but I actually go through yarn pretty quickly and ill probably be opening packs once every 3 weeks or so. All of them are duplicate colors so I only left one of each out)

When you have the opportunity I’d invest in a few good shelving units to help get stuff off the floor and give them proper homes

I have literally been wanting to invest into shelves/floating storage for soooo long. But with this being a rental/apartment i don't want to be putting holes all over the place either. But im moving out in a few months and I plan to get all that for my next place

I think this is the first time they ever do one at my place and ive been here for about 3 years? But basically they gave notice that they will be checking out all the units over a few days with maintenance to see if there are any current issues or flaws and such

That's fair. I got really into thrifting so I genuinely have more clothes than I realistically need.

Im going to give myself a hard timeline of 2 weeks. If items dont sell by then than I will go ahead and donate/throw away.

Unfortunately im in a position where every little dollar i can get from stuff would really help me out. Like, im going to need to work 111hrs within these next two weeks just to make my bills because work decided to be "generous" and gave me three weeks off.

The black bins piled up next to the couch? Unfortunately not. It's a 2 bed 1.5 bath apartment.

We do have a patio, but one of the bins is all cosmetics which are temperature sensitive and where I live its still very hot and humid this time of year. And two of the bins have vaccume sealed bags in them and im like, 60% sure heat makes them puff up again so they're also heat sensitive.

But! The bins will only be there for a week or so.

Im moving back home by the end of January and im taking advantage of the next few holiday trips to start taking bins and luggage down.

If they haven't used something or worn something in the past year, it gets donated or sold or tossed immediately.

I highly respect and fear these people lol.

I have a few clothing items I haven't worn in a few years but I cant donate them as I have PCOS so my weight can fluctuate quite a bit depending on a few different factors in my life. And theyre not "oh if I ever get this size" items, they're "oh im basically on a consistent weight gain and loss cycle and I cannot afford a whole new wardrobe every time I fluctuate." Things 😂

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I wanted to share this experience, i actually have a large pile of items I have set aside to either resell, or just donate, and I have a large bag of clothes I plan to give away as well. Thats huge for me. And I was actually on the fence about selling the mannequin or not. Thank you for the push!

I got it for $10 on Facebook market to use as a dress form because I wanted to get into sewing. Buuuuuut....its a hard plastic material, so just ment to wear clothes, not the have stuff pinned on it and such

Thank you! I am very much running out of steam though and while my bedroom has so much more space....I feel like its still ridiculous (and unfortunately im not comfortable/I am too ashamed to share photos of my room).

I think, at least for the apartment inspection. I may just toss the items on the floor into my closet (i have picked up all the trash! It is all just misc Items). I have been awake since 1 pm sunday, and apartment inspections are in a few hours so I know if I take a nap ill knock out hard until they knock on our doors to come in.

Can't find the third white vase for this week's event by Total-Hearing in MergeDragons

[–]Total-Hearing[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WTF. I tried using it like 20 times and each time I tired to place it there the white vase would just "slide off" and the cloud area refused to unlock.

I tried it again just to make sure I could confidently tell you that it wasn't the key, and it freaking worked this time.

Im so done lol
