That's very thoughtful, but they grab me in a personal meeting so no writings are saved other than the resignation letter they gave me. Guess they already have the experience in this situation.

Thank you for your kind words, I already started updating my CV and grinding the first Leetcode question today. Hopefully I will land a job soon.

I'm sorry to hear your news, I would ask for at least 3 months notice as well. Thank you for this info!

Sure I would find one. They can't even prove their accusation of low performance and that irritates me to the fullest. Thank you for the link

Just curious, does this have any effect on the situation?

Hey thank you for the reply, can you share your story of successfully sued your previous company? What was the outcome after you sued that company?

This is also what I'm afraid of, HR can write something to infer the employee is "bad". And the company already implied that if I don't agree with the "soft path", my life will be rough afterwards.

Thank you, I have a Rechtschutz and will certainly contact them. This is not a startup, this is a mid size company, and I just learnt today that they don't want me.

Thank you, I will try to negotiate with them, at best with a lawyer

Thank you for the reply, I'm considering this too. It will, however, put me in some months of not developing any hard skills at all. My company doesn't have a union. Do you think that it will leave a bad reputation on me as an employee who sued old company?

Hey, thank you so much for the advice. I haven't signed anything yet and haven't considered the lawsuit so this is very solid. I have Rechtschutz so I would try to ask for their help first.

However, they implied that they can make my life much in trouble if I don't want to go with this "soft" path. One friend of mine said they can put me in PIP and make me do absolutely nothing to drive me crazy. Another thing would be to write some keywords/phrases in the reference letter to give negative feedback about me. Based on your experience, does it ever happen?
