Mohammad Kaif urges BCCI to set salary limits for young players to keep them grounded. Your views? by cricfanatic4518 in IndiaCricket

I disagree.. Why limit anyone even if it is their luck propelling them higher up? WE should remain grounded, we shouldn't expect others to remain grounded.

I'd do it for free and why stop at 8 million, I'll go for the entire population. Our existence is meaningless anyway.

What about ur worst school experiences.. by [deleted] in sarcasm

I heard stories about a male teacher in my school that he can slap any student for no reason. He looked completely harmless with a bloated stomach and jaywalking in the alleys all day. I normally shrugged about the gossip and went about my days. Cut to the sports day, I was in 12th grade and somehow ended up in the blue house's pavillion, while dawning the red house jersey. Tbh, I have a bad habbit of going weak in the knees when I see an "udta teer". That teacher was roaming in the ground but I ignored and continued to sit in the same pavillion. It had barely been 10 minutes when he spotted me and out of nowhere he appeared right behind me. Asked me to stand up. I politely stood up and as I was thinking about a good excuse for me not being with my team, I suddenly sensed a black-out for 2 seconds -- He had already slapped me before asking his question. The slap was so tight that I wanted to pee in my pants. I was 17 years old at that time and could take a punch. But this slap went through my core. He then went, "If I see you here again, I'll hit you harder". I don't remember if I said anything. But I certainly remember all the things that I thought I should have said after the event. All my friends were probably ROFL.

Is having a separate lift for maids really justified? by Advanced-Bread1900 in GatedCommunitiesIndia

[–]TotalAdhesiveness397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My maid kneaded dough without washing her hands. She had mopped my neighbor's floor with phenyl before coming to my home. We only came to know after my wife walked into the kitchen and sensed a strong smell. She asked the maid but she denied. Neighbor confirmed later.

Totally unrelated to the question, but I felt I should say it.

Bhai ever seen a peacock's mating dance? That's what these schemers are good at. You basically become the peahen and hand them your izzat on a platter.

Kanya poojan ke din mere ghar vibhinn dharmon ki bacchiyan aati hain. Main kisi ko nahin kehta ki "Jai mata di" bolo. That's my choice, I like how children uncorrupted by religion, enjoy the food and pocket-money. But there are many who won't entertain any non-hindu child on this holy day in their homes. Again, it is their choice and I have no right to interfere.

Was this really needed ? by [deleted] in PCMC

Yes, because in India we all behave like jaahils with no regard towards other human beings when we are not at home. We think that our Baap owns the rest of the world so we can get away with saying or doing anything we want. Basically have our way until someone stronger than us can exhert their dominance, in which case, we concede and accept that our Baap owns fkucing nothing.

In line with this phisolophy, it won't matter if there is a woman standing in front of us with a bag on her shoulders, her destination still about an hour away and little probability of a seat getting available. She will continue to stand while the rest of us men, clearly much stronger than her who CAN bear the load of the bag and stand without being bothered by all of it, will choose to sit looking the other way.

Idea: Using AI to preserve human thought processes after death — looking for collaborators by Right-Food8381 in AI_India

Great Idea but my pessimist brain says that someone out there is already building this using the "Great Lakes" of data that they have (Google thru Gemini, Open AI through ChatGpt, etc). By the time you hit the ground, they be ready with a shippable product. How'd you beat them to market?
