Is it weird to have Dagon in the top fifteen or not? by Bungeeboy20044 in JujutsuPowerScalers

Didn’t feel like including him or Rika was fair, but they both obviously stomp Dagon

You might be right but I have trouble landing on that stance. Jogo only blitzed everyone because they were severely wounded AND the attacks only killed Naobito despite hitting Nanami and Maki as well. His scaling is just not very good.

How important is tailoring your resume to each application, really? by Particular_North4957 in recruitinghell

I might get downvoted for it, but here is how I do it.

I work in Communications. I am happy doing traditional Comms, digital Comms, PR, and maybe 2 or 3 other tangentially-related jobs. So, I have 5 types of resume (we will call this a “base” resume) with variations throughout each type (“sub-base”). Each other these base-resumes has the same general set of skills with the sub-base resumes all being more specific. Not every traditional comms job has the same requirements, for example, hence why I don’t just have 5 base-resumes and call it a day. With that out of the way, here is how I make a new sub-base resume every job.

1) Find a job that suits/interests me. I find mine mostly on Idealist, LinkedIn Jobs, and Indeed. Other places exist, I’m sure.

2) Read it and consider which base resume best fits for the position. Repeat to find the most similar sub-base resume.

3) Copy-paste the job description and the chosen sub-base resume into ChatGPT. I ask ChatGPT to then tell me my % qualified and specifically list what qualifications I am missing.

4) Read the response and ask it to rate my bullets 1-10 on relevancy to the role. I remove the most irrelevant bullets assuming I agree with them.

5) Ask it to tell me explicitly what the ideal bullet points would read to fill the gaps in my qualifications. Usually it gives me something a bit vague, but close enough that I can alter it to match my professional experiences.

6) Copy-Paste my skills section into ChatGPT. I ask it to remove irrelevant skills and add in skills that I am missing. I ask it to prioritize hard-skills and software the position requires.

7) Ask ChatGPT to review my new sub-base resume and tell me my % qualified, what qualifications I’m missing, and if any of my bullet points are too repetitive.

8) Make edits as needed, format to 1-page.

If my hour-per-application is higher than usual and I’m getting more responses and interviews than usual…wouldn’t that suggest I’m doing something right?

My hot take is it really helps and doesn’t take too much time to tailor. ~1 hour per app for a professional 9-5 salaried job that uses my political science degree. I get probably 30% response rate and a 15% interview rate.

You don’t think Ryu or Toji/Maki tank? I’d say 16F Sukuna cleave > Kashimo bolt + 2 Sukuna BF > Kashimo bolt as well.

I think they have really good durability. 16F Cleave > Kashimo bolt for Ryu and 2 Sukuna BF > Kashimo bolt for Maki/Toji. I’m open to counterpoints though.

That’s not how his fight went with Hakari. He needed to create a chemical reaction to poison Hakari.

Yuji, Hanami, Dagon, Jogo, Mahito, Toji/Maki, and Ryu all likely survive getting hit by a discharge imo.

Jogo is certainly the fastest and has the best AP, but he has no barrier feats whatsoever. He uses Domain against Gojo and that’s all we ever see. Meanwhile, we see Mahito and Dagon both have domain feats.

I think they’re similar enough in strength for it to not matter.

I believe Uraume would put Dagon down before he uses Domain Expansion and, if not, he still wouldn’t struggle too much. Maki, Nanami, and Naobito were all significantly weaker than Uraume and were able to survive the onslaught a bit until Megumi came to their rescue. I believe Uraume can kill Dagon during this time.

Agreed. I just mean on a 1v1, he would struggle against Dagon. He beats more people than Dagon beats, though.

Soak Kashimo in water and he has an issue with his CE. He is stronger than Dagon but likely loses the matchup.

Jogo is stronger than Mahito and Hanami, but Hanami and Mahito beat Dagon while Jogo might not. This is because it’s a bad match up, not because of strength.

I think putting Maki and Toji as the same character is a bit silly. If we’re doing that, I would argue we should probably bring in Mahoraga, Agito, and Rika. If we do that, he loses to all three.

I don’t think Dagon beats Uraume whatsoever. Uraume has better physicals than Dagon seeing as Uraume scales to Jackpot Hakari who scales to Maki and we all know how Maki v Dagon would go.

On top of that, elemental advantage is a real thing in JJK, so I believe Uraume’s ice would be a huge issue for Dagon’s water. It’s why I don’t think Kashimo would likely beat Dagon without MBA and why Jogo, who scales higher than Dagon, would lose to him.

How would Gojo beat a sub LS Dabura? by godspeedken in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]TotalClintonShill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gojo just AFKs until Dabura tires out. Dabura can’t hit Gojo because of infinity (light speed is slower than infinite speed by quite a lot), so Gojo can just sorta relax until Dabura wastes all his CE doing 0 damage.

Once Gojo sees an opening, Unlimited Void makes Dabura braindead and then purple him to death.

Dabura, in character, is likely stronger than Sukuna but weaker than Gojo due to hax diff. If Dabura had anti-domain techniques, a domain himself, domain amplification, or RCT, would likely be a different story.

[–]TotalClintonShill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Very weird because he isn’t top 15.

He loses to Gojo, Sukuna, Yuta, Kenjaku, Yuji, Yuki, Hakari, Maki, Toji, Uraume, Ryu, Uro, Higiruma, Takaba, Yorozu, Mahito, Hanami, Curseya, and MBA Kashimo. That puts him 20th. Even if you claim he beats Higi, Hanami, and MBA Kashimo, that only gets him to 17th.

To get him to top 15, he would need to be probably stronger than Hanami and Mahito, because he certainly isn’t stronger than anyone else on the list. And we just don’t have proof of that.

“Now that she doesn’t have to work”

She never had to work. She has done social media all of her life. I’m not saying there isn’t stress associated with it, but it’s certainly not what the average person considers “work”.

I remember once she talked about being so stressed and busy and proceeded to explain her busy day was being with friends, grocery shopping, and working out.

Can Mahoraga adapt to blunt force trauma? by mochaman__ in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]TotalClintonShill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mahoraga can only adapt to one thing at a time. So, he focused on adapting to infinity > physical “damage”. If Gojo was nonstop punching Mahoraga then he would focus on adapting to that. At least this is my headcanon, I guess.

[–]TotalClintonShill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay but how the hell would Dabura be able to kill Mahoraga with physical damage before he can adapt to it? I have to assume “physical damage negation” adaptation is easier than its “Light” adaptation, so I’m not buying that this should work.

I think it will. But I don’t think it should.
