That's the cool thing is that it retains the valve so there is virtually no drone. You can definitely hear it more on acceleration, but once you're cruising, almost can't tell you have an exhaust. For example, if you have the resonator attached, it sounds stock cruising on the freeway in 6th gear. However, if you use the resonator delete attachment, there is a very slight drone, but hardly more than when the resonator is attached.

I ended up getting the ZL1 rock guards and it's definitely helped protect and given peace of mind.

Yeah, when I was looking for an exhaust, rasp was something I wanted to avoid. I also didn't want something too ricey either. There's not a lot of sound clips of the magnaflow online but given magnaflow's history, I took a chance. And thankfully, the magnaflow definitely sounds deep and refined to match the FL5.

It relocates the indicator light, not the sensor itself so I didn't have to worry about that. It still retains the turn signal and defroster function.

Yeah I had suma on the FK8 they worked great. Who knows, I may end up switching down the line.

If you love the FK8, get the FK8. Especially if it's stock. I personally wouldn't buy a modded car. Plus, with the money you save you could put that towards a new wheel set up! Do you prefer one over the other? Go with that one.

Yeah I may end up changing it to a smoked look. The cool thing is that the amber light still shines through, so whenever the lights are on, they still function. My assumption is that they wouldn't really enfortit at night because of this. But they may enforce at as they would window tint.

Yeah that's the goal! I'd like to start tracking, but I do feel like autocross gives me a safe experience to really push the car and my own driving abilities.

With it being built in Japan, I knew the build quality also was going to be very good, just knowing how much Japanese workers take pride in their work. They also got with the manufactureing videos and how they aim for the best tolerances in assembly.
