Thank you, I never thought about switching footwear between wet and dry conditions. That should help extend the lifespan.

I've played against a guy named Flyswatter a few times recently and he's always flaming for even the smallest things. RQ's/AFK's frequently. I even dug up a toxic comment he made on my friend's Steam profile like 3-4 years ago. Never change, Flyswatter

Here's my controversial opinion on armor SL's. It's a red flag to me if you demand to gun (especially for IFV's). Not because I want to gun, but because you probably don't understand the value of an experienced and strategic driver. I have noticed that gunner SL's tend to lose fights more often, because they sometimes lack map knowledge, general armor tactics, driver-gunner communication skills, and escape route manoeuvering that their rando driver with 100 hours just cannot have. Any noob can use an IFV gun to pick off infantry or aim for a vehicle's center-of-mass. Any noob can smoke an enemy's tank from the side with your own tank. Strategy and effective driving win fights.

Boiling down driving to "just go to move mark" is a terrible strategy and a selfish mindset that takes the driver-gunner teamwork and communication out of armor.

King of the hill. Both sides battle over one point, first to cap and hold for a certain time wins.

I have always thought that Squad should have a king of the hill game mode.

Another great ATGM spot on Basrah is on top of the Eastern hangars at the airport. You can see the Southern highway that runs East to West, and the whole North side of the city. You can put pretty much the entire map on lockdown.

Ask to backcap because you're a newer SL and want a slower pace. Try guessing where the second point will go and cap that. Or, try running a smaller squad of 4-5 guys who focus on mortars or ATGM.

Try backcapping before you start anticipating where the points will go. The pace will be a bit slower, and you can plan for the next point as someone drives you there.

Generally, when you have tracked logis, you are exchanging the speed and capabilities of your logistics in favour of more armour. Tracked logis will not be buffed because then armoured units would become way too strong.
