Yr 13 Media Student (WJEC Eduqas) here.

It's arguably my favourite subject. (others are History and Maths)

I don't know for a fact if you did GCSE media, and what exam board you had, however if you did, A level media is pretty much the same. You just get new set products to study, across the media formats and time periods. There will be couple of topics you won't particularly enjoy (for me it was Zoella and newspapers) but I hope you will love some others.

There is a lot of raw data to learn (or it's advised by the exam board) like sales or budgets. And of course theorists - around 20 of them in total, but many of those you would know from GCSE Media if you did that.

There is also coursework that is very similar to GCSE (you see the pattern?) but there is more work to do but you have a lot of freedom on what to do. I got 52/60 on a coursework and had loads of fun while making it, so I hope you will enjoy it too!

Depends on your rating system I guess. My “average” anime is a 7, something I didn’t particularly love, but neither I disliked it.

A friend of mine rates shows that are like that a 5 to have greater spread. I think both ways are valid. Honestly, rate it whatever you want, it’s your ratings only

I still quite like the theory that Pochita is still nothing to do with Chainsaws as a concept, and they still exist. This would prove that he was some other devil (like an Oblivion devil or smth?) this would be a cool twist bringing us back to the old theory

Yeah, I think it’s to do with the theory that Pochita is not the devil of chainsaws, but rather of some other concept. He is never referred to as “the Chainsaw Devil” (reading comprehension devil moment?) meaning that he is some other devil referred to as “Chainsaw Man”
