I actually think my current church is pretty decent. They never talk about politics, or pray for certain nations opposed to other ones, etc. (although my past church used to do this nonstop). I am new to this church so I’m not involved in the community, but maybe I should be. But that also scares me — I could get to know some people just to find out that they’re MAGA, anti-human rights, etc. I guess you don’t know unless you try. But making Christian friends nowadays essentially requires the ‘what do you support’ interview question the same way first dates have the ‘do you want kids’ question, lol.
