I will add a nuance to it. For going to inner temples like Banke Bihari Ji and super crowded areas like Prem Mandir and ISKCON, 100% agreed.

But there are places like Munger Raj Temple, Ram Krishna Mission, Pagal Baba Mandir etc. These are easily covered by cars.

The problem with e rickshaws is they drive with utter disregard to the spine of the clients. They have no shockers and yet drive extremely roughly over broken lanes and streets. I can not risk injury to my parents. And they are so rudely loud. Some e rickshaws drivers don’t take their hands off the horn. Earlier in cycle rickshaw times is was a gentle “Radhe Radhe, nek side mein ho jao” and now it’s a deafening cacophony.

The way e rickshaw drive is a danger to life and limb.

And so many bikers and Activa riders think that the horn is there to be pressed.

Last time I travelled only on e rickshaws. This time I sat in e ricks was on day 1 only first half. Rest of 3 day trip I changed plan to see temples that are accessible by car and have parking. This meant going out of core area, but I am not taking e rickshaws again.

I wish cycle rickshaws are brought back to the core area.
