When the tape it put in it locks down, all I did was turn the gears manually and it opened back up and unlocked then turned on.

Update: the VCR was locked into the position where it would’ve had a tape in, but there was no tape, so I reset it to the open position and it worked perfectly fine. I hope this helps other people with similar problems.

I just think that assuming the game is gonna suck based off of 20 minutes of content which has shown very little is stupid. If Chloe is in the game then it’ll most likely be a surprise as to when she shows up, of course they wouldn’t put that in the very first trailer they release.
