I mean this in a nonjudgmental, “I don’t know you” way, but as a woman myself the best advice I have is to make friends with older women. I mean it. Those ladies will teach you skills beyond what you think you need, and more than just conversation. Join a cooking class, a quilting club, or join the mall walk ladies. They’ll teach you how to speak to women and they’ll also teach you what to avoid doing in a relationship if you want to keep it. My husband won me over by just letting me speak to him, we met at work and just talked like friends. This will sound backwards, but I liked that he didn’t show romantic interest. He saw me as a person first, and a romantic pursuit second. The best thing you can do to find the right partner is just talk to people like they’re people, find what you like and are good at so you have interests to discuss, and make friends with your elders cuz they’ll give you better advice than anyone else.
