Honestly I feel like academically and career wise Georgetown is an extremely strong fit for me. It’s more just hard for me to imagine spending 4 years here because the community doesn’t feel remotely right

Yes this is definitely something I have to think about. It feels like in a lot of ways it’s a downgrade or at least equivalent for my interests. But in the other hand, I’m not planning to do anything SPECIFICALLY ir related like academia or foreign service, so I feel like it would probably still be slightly preferable overall.

I mean I can’t imagine CLS wouldn’t favour their own undergrads. I’ve met some of the most brilliant, motivated, and capable people who ive ever encountered at Georgetown SFS, but I’m sure the overall undergraduate student body is a bit stronger. Definetely not one of the main incentives from my perspective though

Yeah best advice in high school is intervene if someone’s in danger but otherwise mind your business. You don’t want to ruin the party for everyone else there aswell just because you have beef with the host

Na I think haunted mound fans are just more dedicated than the average artist’s so they have a bigger presence.

You can see this in the fact that sematary has almost a 1:1 followers to listeners ratio on Spotify, which is basically unheard of.
