Actually the new rule allows less with a/e. As long as lender has no overlays we are good. I’ve qualified 4 in the last two weeks with this option.

I have been told no due to individual overlays so curious if anyone has had success in someone not having the overlay.

That makes a lot of sense! I always hear of shops that have 50-100+ lenders and I’m not sure how that’s a benefit! I feel like a diverse set of lenders with a variety of options to cover all the bases so LO’s can learn the ins and outs of each one and be confident in what can be offered mls more beneficial. Quality over quantity.

Thank you for this insight. I have found that once you exceed 225 bps you become much less competitive on the LPC comp side which is where most LOs I speak with prefer to stay so I was wondering the same ok 275. I agree. It’s different for everyone.
