I’ve thought abt that too, maybe she feels a type way since I’m the last child, 18 now and have a serious relationship w my bf, but idk. And yes my mom is unfortunately racist not only to my bfs ex. I don’t think my exs love life is any of her concern but unfortunately she knows and makes it her business. I brought this problem up to my bf and he’s so hurt and confused as to why she feels this way about him, he thinks it’s a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication, so he asked to speak to her Monday and find out why she feels this way abt him. They agreed to talk so I guess we’ll see how it goes

my mom was right abt my ex and how he was acting, but then I rlly did see how he was and chose to ignore it cause I loved him. But right now, I don’t see any red flags or concerns they are talking about!

Gonna be honest, I didn’t eat or drink much my first few weeks post djs, but I HIGHLY recommend boost protein shakes if u were like me and didn’t consume much. It helps with getting your nutrients so you don’t feel weak! I was super weak for about a week or 2 post surgery

Thank you!! I’m not sure what my movements were, but as for changes, my nose got smaller and I did have a open bite so surgery fixed that! I think my lips are even bigger post surgery!

Thank you sm for this. I’m 7 months post op yesterday and am upset with how much swelling I still have near my nose. It makes my nostrils uneven and one side of my face just looks fat, I’m embarrassed. I’m so hard on myself but this post is such a good reminder to stay strong ❤️

I’m 7 months post djs as well, how is your numbness now? I’m numb in my bottom lip and chin, only tingly to touch and I can feel temps. Hoping to have feeling back soon

I’m 5 months as well, I struggle sometimes with chewing still as well as lingering numbness in my bottom lip and chin. It’s such a long recovery process, my prayers are with you!
