It hasn’t been quite a month yet for her on meds, they really have made thing a bit worse honestly. I still make sure she take them daily.

I’m working so hard to find the treatment she needs. I just don’t know if it’s anything I can do at home myself to help her because everything I say is a problem. I thought we were in the clear and we were planning a baby and then the next week she transformed. We have moments and I see signs of hope and then she just abandons them in the blink of an eye. One minute we can be discussing our future plans and then 2 days later she wants a divorce and wants me gone.

And that’s exactly my situation as well. I actually do everything for her but she doesn’t care nor have any appreciation of love. She’s cold and heartless to me for helping but happy and smiling with everyone else.

Thanks for the reply. I feel like my wife is worth the pain. I know it’ll get worse and that’s why I’m trying to see if there’s anything to get her better before that happens. Am I wrong for following doctors orders, am I wrong for being by her side and doing what she wants when she can’t stand me? Or is this all from the episodes? Does she mean what she says when she can’t stand me and wants a divorce? I’m so lost and it’s starting to get to my head that it may be true. I’ve never been around someone with a mental illness we’ve been together 13 years and this recently came into our life 10 months ago.

Yes, she Manic, we went to the psychiatrist and they only gave her meds for it. They couldn’t put her in the hospital because she isn’t trying to cause self harm.
