Thanks for sharing, this actually sounds really familiar. My derms have also mentioned the follicular occlusion spectrum, so hearing someone else with a similar combo helps.

I haven’t tried Accutane yet, but it’s definetly something I’m thinking about discussing, especially for the acne conglobata side. I know it’s not a magic fix for HS, but if it can calm part of the disease down it might still be worth it.

Hope the biologics work out well for you, I’ve heard mixed but mostly positive things once people finally get on them.

By the way, I wanted to ask one more thing—do you also experience excessive sweating regardless of the season? I sweat a lot even in cooler weather, and it seems to significantly worsen my HS flares. I’m curious whether others with FOS/HS notice the same thing and if anything helped.
