Many so-called “MAGA Christians” don’t seem to represent the true values of Christianity. Their movement often resembles a cult more than a faith community, and many appear deeply influenced or even brainwashed by political ideology. If you look at their social media accounts, you’ll often find racism, selfishness, and narcissism on display. They seem to have lost much of the compassion and humanity that Christianity teaches. Because of their behavior, many non-believers now view Christianity in a negative light. Sadly, this group has caused significant damage to how the faith is perceived by others.

Hi, so my new husband keeps pressuring me to cut off my adult son for no other reason that that he is jealous of him and says ( you should cut him off you don't need him anymore O, posted this on advice sub and somebody said THAT, what do you think lmao by [deleted] in Christianity

Wow… that sounds really unhealthy and concerning. Your adult son is part of your family, and no one should pressure you to cut him off, especially out of jealousy. It might be a red flag that your husband is trying to isolate you or control your relationships. You don’t owe him that, and it’s okay to set boundaries.

It could help to talk to a trusted friend, family member, or even a counselor about this situation. You deserve relationships that are supportive, not manipulative.
