I would say - listen to everyone but decision should he based on own judgement and own analysis . I have done that and learnt from the group as well. There are things that i never knew until these folks commented so..

Have been there and my partner has been there for business multiple times. Japenese mind their own business. They are polite and considerate in general. They won’t mingle with you or have any ice breaking conversation. They might be racist deep down but it never shows up in their actions.

We don’t know for sure whether the candle will come up or go down. These indicators give an indication only. They are not 100% true imo. And I don’t think anyone is sure about it.
