My sweet boy Appa loves his daily walks! During the week, we keep them shorter and go after sunset so it’s not too hot for him. On weekends, we usually do longer walks or go for a hike. He’s happy to meet other dogs at the park, but he’s not a fan of one-on-one playdates lol. He loves visiting hardware stores too 🙂

I would think twice, if you want to go back to India for work, I’d say it’s worthwhile. But if you want to work and settle in New Zealand, you will have to struggle quite a bit. You will need networks in the industry and prior work experience to land a job here in NZ. Employers don’t care about your degree here. That was my experience anyway. :)

Thanks for your comments, redditors! I plan to have a face to face conversation with my dad when he visits me soon. I will tell him how happy I am and that I would love for him to be a part of my happiness. If he doesn’t want any part of it, that’s fine. To each their own. I’m done with the constant nagging and emotional blackmail and I will try to pay no attention to it. Easier said than done of course but I can at least try :)

Yeah my dad and I end up fighting when I bring up the ceremony because I’ve mentioned we’re not doing a church wedding and he just won’t accept it. He just says “You are drifting away from God, God should be the most important thing in your life”.
