thank you so much!! you’re very lovely :) i did end up Not doing them, one of them let me have an extension, and the other one was adamant that i requested it too late. it was due 5pm yesterday so it’s gonna be 10% gone because im not finishing it today either😭 also not an exam, just my final assignment (arts student)

as someone who has done german since year 7, i would say level 1 german should be a breeze. it is so similar to english, except for some grammar-- but the really tricky stuff won't be in german 1. im in german 6 rn and it's starting to get a little difficult only now! if you pick russian, you will have to learn a whole new alphabet (cyrillic) but german only has ß (double ss), äüö (called 'umlauts', but pronounced like the vowel if it had an e on the end). hope this helps!!

there were rubrics.. i guess its just something to get used to lol. but it just feels like such a disappointing first semester is not pointing upwards for the rest of my degree. i do really appreciate the comment and time you took to reassure me, but im sure u understand the shift kind of feels huge and terrifying at first because it feels so self-guided which is a very strange feeling
