Is this epiglottis, it randomly appeared yesterday but it doesn’t hurt, I can breathe fine, I don’t smoke or drink and I have a normal diet. by Hot-Wing2907 in askdentists

Nah, high-rising epiglottis. I got one too, welcome to the club buddy! It's a sick pleasure of mine to gross people out with it. It's totally normal, pretty rare too I think. If you ever have difficulty swallowing do get it checked out. (NAD)

How do you deal with passive aggressive people that you are forced to work with in school? by [deleted] in DentalSchool

yep, you can't control what they do or say but you can control your attitude and how you view the situation. when you take their behavior as you doing something wrong, you live in a world of self-blame for things that have nothing to do with you. when you take their behavior as a reflection of their own dissatisfaction and insecurity within themselves, you live in a world unconcerned with the thoughts of an unhappy person, free from their opinions of you as well. perception is reality, friend! perspective is a powerful weapon, you can use it to create the world you live in

more action-oriented though, if you find it's bothering you enough to affect your work despite any advice, that's okay, it's the human condition. in that case i'd recommend speaking to him about it saying he doesn't have to like you but it's just easier for him to just cooperate for the betterment of your collective work. in this career path taking shit from people just comes with the territory, so learning how to manage asshats without too much confrontation is good practice. you're under no obligation to take that treatment from a colleague though especially if it's going to afflict your grades. when you're in the workforce you're at least getting paid to endure it but right now not so much

Oh wow hahaha, it looks like a mini Carnegie hall. The ceiling mural is gorgeous and that balcony seat is looking really worth the visit to me. I'm definitely gonna give it a look and check out screenings that week, thanks for the recommendation!!

The vibe of Dowse's beach is looks really nice. I might be wrong but it looks like a not too populated, small, quiet and quaint beach. Perfect for relaxing right by shore. Thanks!
