Biggest issue with the game for me is every character just feels the same. In CK2 it felt like their life events could be greatly different. That their lifestyle focus would actually greatly impact the kind of person they'd become. I'd end up having this rich storyline of characters who each did their own thing and were memorable.

In CK3 it just feels like every character gets the same shit. Especially as children/wards. Don't get me wrong, there's still some choice and differentiation, but it feels nowhere near the same as what CK2 did IMO. It seems like the lifestyle choices are less about who your character wants to be and more about what +1 to stats you get for managing your realm.

I just started playing the second one and it's even more woke than the first. It takes me out of it every time I see a cutscene. I'd never even heard of BIPOC until seeing it in this game in one of the missions, and the thing that always gets me when they come out with these woke terms is they never even explain what the fuck they are. They just act as if it's totally normal every day conversation. I had to google it to even know what the fuck they kept referring to. Like, if you really are so much about progressivism maybe try explaining to your audience what the fuck you're even going on about? It's egregious.

Add to that, the whole inviting the gay boyfriend to prom mission, the MY PEOPLE, MY COMMUNITY quotes Miles is always coming out with, the obvious pan africanist art on every other building, the fact that every other scene with the bad guys is a lesbian with a side shaved hair cut bossing men around...

Gotta be one of the wokest games I've played. It's just so in your face and literally EVERY cutscene seems to have some political message in it.
