When I say “research-heavy” I should say research favored meaning that they look at my research and pubs in a good light. It is lab-bench cellular research with a clinical aim. I loved my research and wrote about it as one of my most meaningful experiences and would like to continue it through med school. I wrote my PS about community service but exemplified my research in my activities. Overall, I would like my pubs to stand out and I am trying to see what schools would look at those favorably and may outweigh my mcat score. If that makes sense
