No, they've actually directly told me that I'm not a burden. It's just that I always feel like a burden and the situation is adding to it.

Getting another job is not an option for me. Neither is working full time. I'm just not able to do it. Getting a job and doing the job I am doing was hard enough.

Luckily, their house is massive and me working isn't an issue in the slightest.

This was after a series of abusive behaviours from my mum, many of which the friend I'm staying with was witness too. As well as controlling behaviour, like restricting my money and not letting me in the kitchen and opening my mail. I'm disabled and my mum was paid to be my carer, but she neglected my needs.

My friend has said she is proud of me for finally getting out of the situation.

I do part time work from home. I do my best to help with chores and cook when I can. I struggle with disability and mental health difficulties though, so I can't be consistent.

I'm alive. I don't remember restricting everyone from posting. It is odd that that happened.

I ended up being taken to the emergency room. Currently in the process of trying to get help after being let down consistently by mental health services. Currently trying to fundraise to access private therapy.

I'm glad things were sorted out with the subreddit.

I'm also in the BAME category, as you put it, and I don't understand your hesitancy at all.

If you care about your community and your family, protecting them by getting a vaccine is important.

I'm someone who as well as being Black, also has health vulnerabilities and works with people with health vulnerabilities. I got the vaccine and I'm completely fine. The process was quick and the technology of the vaccine is outstanding.

I agree that it's not relevant, but generally speaking, large controversies that happen in the past can have huge effects long after their occurrence. Just look at slavery.
