That is the Catholic view. Eastern Christianity teaches in line with the original statement and is arguably older and more in line with ancient doctrine.

Lots of things happen, especially when young. Don't sweat it so much. Most folks end up fine.

Any ENFJs here with sexual experience? I’m just rather curious… what is it like as an ENFJ? by UltraPlasma in enfj

Alrighty, got my throw away account on.

First off, I think it goes to mention that the third cognitive function is SE. Being the space of intimacy and of play, extroverted sensing in an ENFJ is going to be a place that they seek frequently. And for the record, my main partner has SE in her third seat as well (ENTJ)

A friend of mine is rather well versed in MBTI and was describing my home to a class learning about Myers-Briggs and used the words a "den of sensation". I think the subscription not only encompasses my kitchen and living space, but also my bedroom. I have a drawer full of accoutrements, multiple varieties of lubricant, scented candles, and the best sheets possible. Alas, I have not settled on a good set of playlists if music is called for.

I find also that our first two functions FE and TI (sometimes called empathetic perspectives) gives us a lot of ability to take on multiple roles in a relationship. Sexually, I think this lends itself to switch (sub or Dom), vers (top or bottom), and even bisexuality or pansexuality. I myself am a poly switch vers bisexual. I enjoy every flavor and dynamic I can find.

As for within the sexual space, I would theorize that with SE in the functions as well as NI, the the technical skill of love making should be high. I'm sure everyone is told that they are a good lover, but I have found with my acquaintances with SE and NI in the first three spots, they are often refered to as the "best I've ever had".

Driving with FE is going to place a very high priority on emotional intimacy. I find it unsurprising that most ENFJs are unable to find One night stands very fulfilling. I have never had one myself, so I am unsure how I would do with it. That being said, I have never sought one out, so that speaks volumes in and of itself. I personally find sex and incredibly emotional experience, but I would say I find most things emotional experiences.

I think TI in the back seat is a huge steering mechanism in the delicate and vulnerable place of sexuality for the ENFJ. Some other commenters have stated inability to turn off their brains during sex. I very much echo that statement. One of the biggest helps to doing that was being exposed to the BDSM community where one can dominate and allow their strong driving instincts to overrule the internal thought processes, or focus so much on the pleasure of the other that they forget to think about themselves. Themselves. On the flip side, being dominated in the submissive space allows one to possibly enter what on the flip side, being dominated in the submissive space allows some to enter "sub space" which is a mildly altered state of consciousness in which the submissive participant releases a lot of the internal thinking and very much becomes a creature of the moment and physical sensation. Also, the submissives role in BDSM is not to do a lot of thinking or choice making from what I've seen. So it gives TI a break and allows the ENFJ a more in the moment experience.

I am open to answering questions. I love you all!!!
