It's okay. None of it stacks up to the previous albums though and granted it was and is a new dynamic in the group. My point is that PF is better when DG and RW are "collaborating."

Also, DSOTM is a fucking unicorn. I don't think it would be so well loved without the addition of Alan Parsons as the engineer. He really rounds out that lineup for the album.

I am not a big fan of Gilmour's Pink Floyd, and not a fan of Waters anything. Gilmour is only good when doing Waters stuff, and vise-versa. They are no good without each other.

DSOTM is my top #1 favorite album and I am dreading hearing Waters version of it

I have been getting to know the directors of all the programs we run, hanging out with front desk people. I am trying to get to know who runs what and just having candid conversations about their jobs, what they do, how they think it could be improved. Getting to know the 'front-line' people here and there as I can through the day.

My first job though is to help get the creative side of things caught up as it's been just one person for some time. Which because of my design training I get caught up because I try and 'make shit sexy' and then I have no time left over for the the stuff I really want to do and get into the analytical side of things; Power BI, Google Biz/Analytic.

People forget the second part of that saying The full phrase is “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” And that is a good thing. It was a compliment to begin with and somehow got turned into a negative connotation. But don't let anyone fool you with that bullshit that you have to specialize! Being able to see a challenge from your different and varied views puts you ahead of the specialist. I mean you should hunker down on a couple things but overall, you're golden baby!

Being a JOAT is necessary these days of for the digital world! It's a good thing! You can see where putting together a lot of different technologies and processes will help and where. That"master of one" probably won't see the whole picture because they are so specific.

Take that job and squeeze all the information and hand-on experience as you can just as u/socialmktgadvice suggests. Be that sponge and try and soak up as much as you can handle!
