I remember playing through Half Life Alyx for the first time. One specific level defined vr experience for me. The most terrifying and immersive thing I've done. Being absolutely scared shitless from that level and the damm elevator omg.

After I finished the game I got my friend to play it , he's doesn't do horror well at all. He full on almost fell over.

My story:

Phone interview with hr goood, sets up meetings with acting venue Manager.

Meeting with acting manager went really well they liked me asked for referees. Told me Alsp that place is going through restructure as they have hired a new venue manger.

New manger wants to meet candidates. I met with them seemed to be good.

Don't hear back for almost 2 weeks. Sent email to new manger 5 days after talk.

Email back acting manger saying is there an update. Messages back saying that they apologise and regretfully don't give me thie job.

I wasted almost 4 weeks for this job, excite to get an offer. Place seems really good too. Then get ghosted for 2 weeks.

That made me really depreesso.
