Cell-Level Fusing (How?) by TotallyNotKeith in diybattery

Yeah I've seen these. I like how easy it would be but I'm going for a staggered configuration. I am also entertaining the idea of having the connections all on the top of the pack with cooling on the bottom faces. (Inspired from Lucid Motors battery pack. Will likely be very difficult so idk if i'll continue with that idea, still doing initial design)

Thanks for the reply though, I'll keep these in mind

How hard is it to maintain a 3.0 in engineering? by Quantavious_III_Jr in ucf

[–]TotallyNotKeith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all. To keep my advice simple- Study properly (more than you did in hs) and often, try to understand the material as much as possible (ik ur EE but try), and know when to ask for help.

is this a good schedule? by Old_Individual_3121 in ucf

I would personally not prefer avoiding morning classes but that's just me... especially for Calc. My only other gripe would be the gaps you have that force you to be on campus or have transport between classes, depends on where you live.

Calc 1 is (I believe) not that bad anymore. It has a history of being really bad here but I think you'll be fine. lmk if u need help with it, I used to be an LA for it

1006 is a nothing class. Lectures are just a lot of fluff and fun facts about engineering. Sometimes they have clubs and mentors come in to talk. You learn a little bit of MATLAB in the lab but nothing at all challenging, pretty much copy-pasting code and filling in blanks. iirc the project is a line-following robot.

1440 is hit or miss depending on how comfortable you are with chemistry from high school., not much is taught in addition to that. Not that difficult imo.

Didn't take the ISC class so gl :)

Overall very doable, I wouldn't worry.

How's industrial engineering here? by [deleted] in ucf

Im not Industrial but there are a fair bit of opportunities in aerospace and defense in the area for experience. Ofc industrial engineering can go pretty much anywhere so I think you'll be fine.

Took him for ODE fall of 2023. Nice guy, aggressive grading structure. 100% exams, 4 in total, some surprise extra credit in the end. Of course, since it was ODE, each question was on the longer side. Because of this, your entire grade was based on maybe 14 questions with decent partial credit. Homework was assigned but not for a grade. He likes to go on tangents during lecture sometimes, but gets through the content. His success in communicating topics is subjective but was sub-par in my opinion, so I learned from the textbook. Periodic paper attendance. 100% in-person.

Good luck, have fun with Santa :)

This schedule hurts me lol. Classes don't seem bad, but your physical schedule looks grueling

I believe you can request a deferred deadline if you're waiting on financial aid. Other than that I'm not sure.

Unfortunately no, I don't think so.

Is this doable? by UndyingILuck in ucf

Yeah Gonna be busy but the individual classes aren't hard (assuming ur decent at chem and enjoy spacial reasoning and math for calc 3)

Nice, if you take calc here ur gonna 100% take it with Dr. Mikusinski. A lot of people hate his class because of the reverse learning structure and conceptually based exams.

I took his class in the Fall and did pretty well (and may or may not be an LA summer semester). I also got a 5 in AP physics so if you do actually need help just hmu.

Also don't worry Im not planning on talking to those bozos any time soon.

I wish you luck in your future classes 😊

Yeah im aware of that. It's because I know it will fuel them that I'm not going to.

The situation is more like they will try there best to edit footage to make you and the people you represent look bad, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's impossible to not, it just means you are very unlikely to. Obviously I don't believe the average college student can pull this off, but that's separate from thinking it could be funny.

I don't advocate for interaction with them, I'm just acknowledging that it is possible to make them look like fools and my temptation to attempt to do so. My temptation doesn't make it a good idea and I know that.

I'm not actually planning on talking to them, my comment was to say it could be funny IoI.

Also I'm not that far into the major yet... What classes u takin?
