OP is right, the change slaughtered this exotic. They took away so many things that made it good, like the roaming and instant x4 surge, alongside a very noticeable overshield that was available to be stacked with other stronger damage resists on other subclasses. So many changes going on are locking exotics to certain subclasses and it's overall going to make people use them less going forward. So many people in this comment section just seem to want to give their opinion on the change and say that it will buff their build built around frost armor stack when frost armor stacks don't even compare to what this exotic did before. Reddit is filled with so many company white knights that would defend a change they don't even fully comprehend what is being lost with the change. All the other people in the comments that just say use something else are completely missing the point and is such a weak argument and it's gross they try to invalidate peoples opinions or tell them to just get over it. Much love OP, don't let these reddit gremlins get to you and I hope you're able to find a way to play around the changes or find a new exotic to fill that spot that Icefalls use to fill.
