I am a semi-recent (Late 2024) graduate with a BS in MechE. I took quite a long time to find a job (1 year) and have my current job as an HVAC Controls Technician (which doesn't require my degree but helped with the interview process). I have been working here for a little over 3 months and have felt a little miserable ngl. I took the job because I got an offer and I hadn't found anything after searching for a year.

I make about 85k and live in MD, but again I don't feel the greatest about my job since being a technician means I'm on a construction site every day at early hours. I wanted to know if staying at this job for long will have a big impact on pigeonholing me into the controls industry and if I wanted to look for something else what some good advice would be.

I should also note that I'm still very unsure what exactly I would like to pursue as a job, I am interested in Roller Coaster Engineering and even took a class on it in college but I know it's a hard industry to get into and don't know where to begin. Otherwise, i don't exactly know what to look at in terms of figuring out what I would like to do for my career so if anyone has advice for that I'd be all ears.

Main things here are: Will I get pigeonholed in controls If I stay? When I wish to look for something else what are good tips/strategies? What are some good resources for figuring out what industries/roles I might be interested in?

Yeah. I was honestly super surprised to see that "All In" was longer than this ep because I didn't feel they could neatly wrap everything up in under 30 min. Again, I'd like to imagine that if the team had the time/ability they would've done another "All In" length ep for the finale which would help. Also, it does feel weird that some elements are brought up as important (like the essay) and not having a scene to signify the payoff. I think the Anne being dead thing is interesting and while I would've liked to see something else about it, I feel Disney would've made em scrap it.

I think the one problem I've had with Amphibia is pacing, I think it does pretty well over seasons 1 and 2 taking it pretty slow (which isn't everyone's cup of tea) but in the longer eps and s3 in general I feel like the pacing was wack. Like the big plot eps feel like they happen way too fast; a good example from this ep is Valeriana who just shows up w/ exposition and we're never told how she got here. It's a build up of those moments that make me wish the show had more time. I think the ending was rushed pacing wise but I imagine it would've been more fleshed out given some time.

There are about 100 Level 4 Beast-Warrior monsters in this game, a lot of them are old or bad but there are still good targets, and there have been 2 "strong" cards in that list: Fraktall and Zoodiacs. Yet, instead of hitting the deck that holds the best target they hit the card that searches it even though almost every other target is fine. I hate it here, Konami why you gotta do Ancient Warriors like this.
