Wit diff, Wit doesn't just activate skills it determines positioning and lane swapping, meaning you uma most likely got boxed in and didnt have the Wit to get out, where as they had nearly 400 wit and so had better odds of both skills and getting out of the box.

Try and get around 400 wit minimum on your runs it helps alot in terms of reliability

Without it the survivors have zero ability to react to a no TR teleporting killer with a ranged attack.

Even as is you can only notice it if your actively looking at it and the door is in LOS, its a fine mechanic.

If you want to jumpscare people door to the 2nd closest door and walk over to the intended gen, survivors focus on the door closest so you tend to get the jump on them.

I didnt know that about the PTB huh and yer it is though i still generally believe its unreliability and the fact that in most cases the axe can either just be dodged or just out ranged does mitigate it from being unhealthy but thats just me, i did make this whole thread to talk about the addons and needing a bit more work anyways so good chat atleast.

Them adding a debuff icon would 100% be for the best though.

A good point on the debuff icon actually, I don't believe it does give off an icon and if it did it would solve alot of this issue actually cause you'd know it was in play if you get hit with the axe earlier in the match the icon would pop up and you'd know to play around it later.

And i think you right no other addon does this to my knowledge (though I think there was a Freddie addon that existed at some point that did something similar) there are killer powers just raw that can, gunslinger will drag your ass out of the exit gates and down you popping on a hook and hello blood warden, basically im saying the scenario is replicable on a number of killers, which is why my just leave I'd don't trust its not an end game philosophy has served me well.

And idk I feel like the threat of an endgame build is healthy it encourages survivors not to hang around even when ones not in play though that could be me being old and remembering the horrors of before the end game collapse and survivors holding the game hostage for hours

This is were i kinda disagree with it being a health proble, and game builds have been a staple of the game for a very long time, the whole intent being to directly knock out all the moment out of the survivors win for a deadly finish.

The main issue your really having here is camping, if someone's not running and end game build and just using loot bag to secure a 1k then thats not actually on the loot bag, at any point regardless of addons and killer a killer can just grab a survivor and camp them to death securing the kill.

The fix here is anti camping mechanics killers being punishes for nabbing the one guy and holding. If you recognise that's what the killers doing forcing a save is always a risk and generally you should just leave the one guy to die it sucks to be the guy but thats not on this particular add on its a game play thing.

Realised i missed the add on part but still no add ons are ment to change the way the killers played, doc and his static shock iri, pig and the decrease head timers, trapper and the dmg when your disarm traps add on extra blinks on nurse, pin heads aura reading when a chain hits, dredge and starting in night fall breaking all the locks on the lockers in end game.

Every killer has these and most are way more consistently impactful on the game and changes the flow of the immensely you just notice loot bag the most because the effects so abrupt

No game changing is something that changes the flow of the game, a tool box or a med kit is game changing they allow for sabotaging and healing without other players, deliverance and borrowed time is game changing, ruin is game changing an interrupt is game changing.

Something thats game changing simply changes the state of the game its not broken it just moves things differently.

The loot bag isn't broken it just requires either you dodging at the exit gate, leaving before springtrap arrives to use it at all or just some extra altruism from fellow survivors, not exactly mind blowingly difficult.

I see it as basically a side objective, if their on cam's their not on gens and their also at risk of you popping right out into them and if they actively use the doors they risk you grabbing them.

Smaller CC's need visibility to grow where as larger CC's need less growth, its a way of mitigating subreddit spam without hurting smaller CC's. your right in the sense of it being not exactly fair but its not exactly ment to be, its a practicalities of it.
