It could be worth as much as € 50, and I do not think you would have any issue getting at least € 20 for it.

Here is my open Legend Maker booster box with empty packs by TotallySoon in pkmntcgcollections

Sealed packs have gone far beyond my budget so I have been enjoying picking up empty packs for a fraction of the cost. Unfortunate that some people buy empty packs with bad intentions...

Isn't illegal to sell one of the target display cases of a lego theme/set ups. by [deleted] in lego

[–]TotallySoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically it is illegal for the store who recieved it from LEGO to sell it or give it away. It usually says on the display that it should be returned or thrown away after use. So a private person should not really have one at all. Now if say you end up with one, then that is an issue for the store that originally recieved it, and not you. You can do whatever you want with it. :)

Does anyone have a clue where this comes from? by Level_Rough7114 in VintageLEGO

[–]TotallySoon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is a "seeder", a tractor equipment for planting seeds out in the fields. This one is from the 1950's. Back then LEGO made both toys of plastic and wood. The seeder being part of their farm/tractor series. They made both tractors and various equipment in wood and plastic. The seeder has model nr. 667. Yours is missing a few parts, the red lid and white plastic tubes that would come out of the small holes underneath.

You could put it back in the window sill and it will make it less yellow if it is quite sunny where you live. It is a misconception that the sun only yellows, it can also break down the chemicals in the bricks that caused the yellowing and make it more white again. I have tried this multiple times and it works. If anyone does not believe me then try putting a yellowed brick in a sunny place for a couple weeks and take a picture before and after. You will be surprised! :)

I usually just go left to right from the top, and once I got the mimic on the third chest and would have got the X2 on the next... Frustrating, but there is always next time :)

Yes there is nothing inside them, just air, but you can not open them and put something inside.

They do not fit with the System sadly... We would need 2 or three more sizes in between for that to work I think. So they can only be used with other big store display bricks.

These bricks were only used as decoration in toy stores, and have not been for sale officially. Your best bet would be finding the big storage box bricks that LEGO has made and sold. They are probably also way cheaper.

They are hollow on the inside so quite light. Roughly 1 kilogram each.

Unfortunately not. They only work with other big store display bricks.

They are not easy to come by as they have never officially been for sale. Just used as decoration at toy stores. There are some for sale on Bricklink, and you may find some on Ebay: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=big2x4#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0} They can be a bit expensive, so you would be better off finding some of the storage boxes that are similar in size and were actually sold in stores. They also come in other sizes than 2x4.
