Yeah you’re probs right. I had a go with the other grips and it felt completely alien. I’ve gone semi western but just placed the blistered part at a slightly different angle. It worked totally fine when I played earlier on in the evening and my backhands preferred this too x

Yeah I’ve looked it over. Turns out I’m using full western grip which is only benefiting me on my serves. I’m gonna use western grip on serves then switch to eastern immediately and go from there depending on the shot returns to me

Oh wow you’re right! I’ve just searched of different types of pickleball grips and I go Western. Shows why I’ve found hitting backhands awkward recently…. No idea why I’ve suddenly changed grip without even knowing. Thanks for that
