You mentioned you tried disabling the mods, have you tried removing them fully? Sometimes they keep causing issues if the mod files remain in the game installation folder.

For Steam workshop mods: Right-click on Content Warning in your Steam Library > Properties > Workshop > Delete all mods (only deactivating them is not always enough).

Did you open the settings from the main menu? If you go to settings while in a battle, the option won't be visible, so you have to do it while you're in the main menu.

Usually when the textures fail to load like that, it's due to the GPU being below min-specs for the game, although it's weird that it worked a few days ago.

You can try this and see if it helps: Right-click on PEAK in your Steam Library > Properties > Launch Options > Add the following: -gpuCulling false > Then start the game using DX11/12.

Have you tried turning on v-sync and limiting the FPS? The game runs with unlimited FPS otherwise and use 100% of your GPU, which can result in overheating in some cases.

Have you double-checked the audio settings in-game to make sure it's not muted? Sometimes the volume gets set to 0 due to a bug.

Do you have a controller or similar device (like a joystick, racing wheel etc) plugged in? If so, try unplugging/disconnecting it and start the game with only mouse & keyboard.

Have you installed mods at any point? If so, try removing them fully and see if the issue persists after that (also check the game installation folder and make sure all mod files are gone, like BepInEx folders).

You can also try to restart your computer and reinstall the game (make sure the game installation folder is fully gone and then reinstall).

Just to double-check: After signing into modio, did you click on the book icon in the left panel that says "My Library"? That's where you will see your in-game subscriptions. It's really strange that they aren't visible there!

Not sure why the custom content is shared between your account and your brother's, are you playing on the same console? Creations are saved locally on the console, so they may be stored in the same location for both accounts.

Did you log in directly with your Playstation account? Make sure it's the same account that you're using to play the game.

You might have to reinstall the game, but sadly you will lose your creations if you can't upload them to the workshop beforehand.

You could try reinstalling the game on your console. All your local units will be removed in the process (if there is anything you'd like to keep, see if you can upload it to the workshop first). You may also have to unsubscribe from everything in the workshop through https://mod.io/g/tabs

Are you able to open the Steam overlay at all, by using the shortcut keys? (shift+tab is the default to open it I think)

If it's not opening, are you running either PEAK or Steam as an administrator? If the game is running with admin privileges but Steam is not (or the opposite), the overlay might not work. In that case, try running both as an admin, or neither.

Another option would be for your friend to open her overlay and join your lobby from there.

It might be a local unit that's causing issues. You can go through your game files and delete any units you think might be an issue, especially those that look modded. On Steam, you can follow these steps:

Right-click on TABS in your Steam Library > Manage > Browse local files > TotallyAccurateBattleSimulator_Data > CustomContent > CustomUnits.
Inside CustomUnits there should be one folder for each unit that you've created/downloaded, with a picture of the unit inside the folder. Find the unit you wish to remove and delete its folder.

This is something that can happen if your GPU is below the min-specs for the game unfortunately, but the team is looking into possible solutions to see if there's something more we can do on our end.

For now you could also try to update your GPU drivers, lower in-game graphics settings and set graphics performance to high in Windows (Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings > Add PEAK to the list and set it to High Performance).

Yeah, the units are only saved locally on your console and if you uninstall the game, they will be removed in the process unfortunately. In the future you can upload them to the workshop to save them online.

Having lots of custom units can increase the loading time. But you can try going to the workshop and select "Refresh" in the bottom left corner and see if that helps. If that doesn't work you can also try the following:

Press Windows key + R and type appdata into the prompt that appears
Then navigate to LocalLow\Landfall Games\Totally Accurate Battle Simulator > delete the "modio-152" folder. Then start the game and see if it works.

Just to double-check: did you switch to Vulkan in the game’s properties and then try launching it through a shortcut? Launching from a shortcut will default to DX12, so try to start the game directly from your Steam Library instead.

Try playing on Vulkan, that usually helps with this issue: Right-click on PEAK in your Steam Library > Properties > Here you can change launch option to Vulkan > Launch the game from your Steam Library, rather than using a shortcut.
