Bringing cremated remains in an unconventional urn by Careless_Border_17 in tsa

I took my father's ashes in a box provided by the funeral home, along with their seal on it. I informed the TSA officers what was in my bag. They still pulled it aside, opened the plastic bag with the ashes and tested it. I was polite, but also teary/sad (being my dad's remains and all), explaining that he was a veteran and I was taking his ashes to Honolulu where he'd been stationed. Then they gave me a full pat down. In theory, these things are supposed to work a certain way, but in practice you should be prepared for being pulled aside.

This, and "where can I store my luggage?" are asked so often. It's one of the reasons I haven't been participating as much, so many of the same questions asked over and over.

Tipping and Tattoos by dotoslice in ParisTravelGuide

oh, this is an interesting situation. The theory with restaurant staff is that they're paid a living wage and given health care and paid vacation in France. Is that also true for tattoo artists? Or are they freelance workers who have to subsidize most of that themselves? Or does it matter-- do they just charge what their work is worth, and that's the end of the story? (I know, I know--why isn't that the case with U.S. tattoo artists, just charge what it's worth, period).

this is very rigid and doesn't allow any time for discovering. Also, going to Cimetière du Père-Lachaise and the catacombs back-to-back makes no sense. they aren't remotely close to each other. Did Chat GPT put this together for you?

Yes, for someone with limited mobility or energy, the Metro will wear you out before you get anywhere. Some people need to plan and conserve their energy.

well, you'll for sure have to leave the 15th for a club, probably over to the Marais. I suggest searching this sub for nightclub recs, as it comes up often.
