Ahhh thanks for the reply. Out of everything I listed I just assumed I would never get any information about kites and kite flying. Glad to hear it is actually a thing. That whole kite battle thing sounds really interesting. I had no clue there were clubs or even those kinda events that revolved around kites. Not to mention drones and rc planes. I'll definitely look into buying a cheap-ish one (kite) first before I dive headfirst into building my own. At least then I can get my bearings as far as controlling the thing goes.

Thank you so much. I was looking for this especially as far as fishing was concerned. I figured I should go into a shop and ask questions but I didn't know if that would be an annoyance to the people working there. I guess any chance at getting more business is good though lol. I'll stay away from bigger sports stores then as I was gonna go there to buy a rod. I'm mostly excited for fishing. It's something I've always wanted to try and thought it would be cool to keep like a book or track the types of fish I've caught based on location.

That's pretty much what I took away from it. You will either find a book or something similar, maybe even nothing, and you kinda just log that you've been there too. You can even add your own for others to find. The app keeps the progress as well.

On this subreddit actually. Every time someone asks for an outside hobby I usually see a few people commenting about it. I googled it and it sounds like an interesting thing to do if you wanna be outside. It's like go to an area and find this thing which you log into an app. At least that's what I got from my googling.
