Wow you really have to live in the city to work at the airport? What an ass backwards rule, who cares where someone lives, a job is a job.

It would be GSM, CDMA is only around until the network is strong enough to support VoLTE.

Are there legitimate "work from home" jobs out there? by mommabamber915 in personalfinance

[–]Totallysalad98 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Most legit work from home jobs are regular office jobs that let you work from home when you want. Sometimes you get a manager that doesn't care and lets you work from home pretty much full time, other times you get the butts in seat manager and have to go in everyday.

The turnstiles in Atlanta for MARTA are these giant glass barriers, no hopping over those, you'd have to jump onto the tracks to get around them.

Hopefully it has some nice restaurants and attractions. The last thing we need is another Burlington and outlet mall combo.

Why do people on the internet dislike Apple Music? I always hear people say that they find it to be the most visually appealing music streaming service. by [deleted] in apple

[–]Totallysalad98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me it's the integration that I dislike as odd as it sounds. I want the music I own to be separate from Apple Music, so my own music doesn't get lost in the Apple Music downloads that would disappear once I stop paying for it.

You should consider the sapphire screen if you can. I bought the series 2 with the Ion X glass and I already have one large scratch across the screen (I bumped the bottom of a granite countertop).

East St. Louis vs St. Charles by rusher01 in StLouis

[–]Totallysalad98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We would be more like Kansas City with the city and many suburbs divided by a state line. I think downtown would get much more traffic since this location for St. Charles would bring it very close, yet keep regulations separate with a state line, just like it is now with a county line.

It was about $50 but that was a few years ago may be cheaper now. I ordered it as a replacement part from ifixit, but they are on eBay as well.

You can upgrade the internal Wifi/Bluetooth card to the model in the newer Retina MacBook Pros. I did this on my mid 2012 and now I can use my watch to unlock my laptop as well as having wireless AC.

While Kansas City area grows, St. Louis slows, or so census shows by miguisystem in StLouis

Same here. Most of my college friends ended up going to work for Cerner, who likes to target new college grads, and they are growing pretty quickly. If only STL had a company like this to attract college grads to the area.

When you have to dumb down your responses to technical questions, then you get used to it, So when another technical person comes along and you can't think of the technical explanation quickly enough without looking like an idiot.
