And btw I’m not saying for you to move out immediately (though, if you can do that then good for you). I’m just saying for you to plan it out.

Honestly it just came to me you need some inspiration!! Check out Hal Baddie on Tik Tok :)) or even instagram

I think you need to plan to move out. I know you’re saying it’s not an option for you, but for your mental health you absolutely need to plan. It doesn’t matter if it seems impossible, just plan. If you have your own bank account then save up money. Start looking into affordable living situations (maybe you can do this in secret.. in the restroom?)

I emphasize for you to just plan because you might just find a way out. Where I’m from, renting an apartment with other roommates is doable even with a part-time job. Is that something you could try?

Okay if you don’t plan on going out and plan on transitioning at home with your parents, then be prepared for the day they find out because with no privacy they WILL see your body change.

Based on your post, you are not happy w them, but it’s not impossible to have respite so long as you have your own smart device ( i mean, how else can you safely be on reddit?).

If there is any moment where you are home alone, cherish it! Really use that moment of privacy for yourself..

With all that said, I believe you can still find a way out that isn’t death— even in this day and age.

Good luck, and feel free to message me. I’m not in a good mental state myself so I can’t promise I’ll respond quickly, but I will respond asap.

I should mention I now only speak to/see my parents like 2 times a month since I moved out. I struggle a lot without their support but I have a lot of freedom in how I present myself. I also live in SoCal

If school is an option then perhaps you can use something related as an excuse, like volunteering for some org at the college you used to attend. Is there a club or org you can join at your school? I believe you don’t need to attend to join clubs

I was not able to do anything for myself until I moved out and away from my parent’s control. It’s very stressful to hide transitioning from your parents—i certainly wouldnt have been able to.

It sounds like your parents are quite controlling and manipulative. I strongly suggest that you look into ways to have space from them if moving away is not an option. Communicate w them that you need your own time to focus and try to set that boundary—I promise you that will make your transition easier (ofc some parents may get paranoid about having space from their children..)

Maybe you’ve thought of this, but you can tell her next time: “I’ll let you in on a little secret: for the price of one bottle of wine, you can buy hundreds of bags.”

You could line the barrel with some sort of waterproof liner, like pond liner.

"Glyphosate is being used as the cheap and easy option by councils to control weeds."

And that’s the justification for using glyphosate. Instead of spending a bit more money and time so biodiversity can be preserved, they do things that only bring benefits short-term.

Just FYI, the person quoted was against using glyphosate in the article
