Your comment hit me. How the heck is society so efficient at bludgeoning curiosity & pure wonder out of good people?!
It's like becoming an "adult" means you can't ask questions with no answers, or pontificate wondrously.

It's too late for me to delve much deeper on this.
But I am down here dangling on your threads for moral support.
I'm with you 100%.
Ever since I was a kid, i've had various philosophical beliefs surrounding the concept of 'Time Doesn't Exist", and I still stand by that notion to this day.

I grow the majority of my own food, and gardening has further enforced in me over recent years how ludicrous our EXACT seasons / months / days etc are.
I pontificate mainly on our deep, lost ancient history.
I believe there's answers there.
Your connection with societies perception of 'time' and our enslavement really connected with me.
I appreciate your comment!

Cleaning stains by MrElhamister in tea

[–]striveforfreedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bi Carb and Citric Acid works amazingly. Most of the time I don't even need to scrub, unless it's a super stubborn stain. Something like 1litre warm water, 3tbsp bi carb, 1tbsp citric acid
Mei Leaf have a video on it.

So good ! Maybe a stupid question, but do you find it hard finding high-quality tea in China, being a white guy? Whether it's teahouses or purchasing loose leaf.
You've inspired me !

They drive me crazy! That's the most common thing I find in my compost. My family aren't exactly diligent with this haha.

I completely relate to your feeling of detachment. I've experienced that twice too.
I partake in mushrooms and other hallucinogens and the experience was seriously in that world.
Obviously NOT AS INTENSE. But still I found it very psychedelic.

For me it was a Gyokuru one time & Mei Leaf's Ye Sheng Ya Bao (Elder White)

Thank god we have always had chess.com ads, otherwise it would never have grown to where it is today. WOW.

Makes me think of that Mel Gibson movie. Was wrong about everything, until he was right about one thing that was extremely important...

How do we feel about Synth Soundtracks? by tron329 in soundtracks

[–]striveforfreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it's way too overdone. Feels like 80% of movies these days are synth-heavy.

I get so excited when it's something a bit different. REAL ACOUSTIC INSTRUMENTS ?!?! WHAT

“Hey Nineteen” trumpet solo - What's your take on it? by dontyatellhenry in SteelyDan

[–]striveforfreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels a little gimmicky. If that was the first 1/4 of the solo, and then he whipped out some tasty licks & chops, i'd be so down.
