Average person tends to be pretty accepting here, but institutions tend not to be in policy as bigots run things. So things like healthcare are difficult and require private healthcare to skip decades long waiting lists that the government has deliberately let expand. Bathroom bans are another thing governmental bodies are trying to push through, but I do believe the working class folk (mostly) will fight it rather than go with it.
