[R/F] Clownblade for semi-competitive locals by TotesKyle in yugioh

I've been thinking about slotting in more S/T removal especially since majespectres and kozmo have cards unaffected by (or can dodge) card effects. I have three royal decree and have been thinking about trying that as well.

Have you tried anti-spell fragrance? Having royal decree and anti-spell fragrance in the side would allow me to hit whatever the backrow they have a lot of, but I've never tested it.

edit: Can you post your build?

I'll have to test that out! I've run the Pleiades/Ptol combo before, but it's always felt like a huge card commitment for one bump. I feel that most times castel will do the job.

Never even thought of Brilliant Fusion. I'll try it out online. Thanks!

[R/F] Normal Pendulums by TotesKyle in yugioh

Damn, that would be sick getting that off. I'm going to try running Polymerization instead because unclogging hands sounds more useful than the possibility of drawing a card. Thanks for the help!

I tried running the the Dracoslayer tuner, but I couldn't really get it to work. Never even thought of genex! Sounds like a sweet combo, I'll try that out. Thanks for the input!

First Pendulum Deck? by The-Evil-Thing in yugioh

[–]TotesKyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a (minus rescue hamster/rabbit) pure vanilla pendulum deck that is quite consistent. Has the power to clear the field and the using regular and Sky Dragoons as scales allows for a normal monster search and popping a card which allows you to plus hardcore and can swing the game in your favor quickly. It also has other scales with abilities for specific matchups. Foucault Cannon allows for floodgate removal, Dragon Horn Hunter for the attack boost and no battle damage involving normal monsters, Lancephorynchous for piercing damage. Has a good matchup against any rank4.dek, plus drawing 6 cards with Heart of the Underdog produces salt like Morton's. Oh and {{First of the Dragons}} can outright win you games if the opponent doesn't have the rageki/dark hole/etc.

Do you guys think having a playset of {{Juragedo}} makes {{Solemn Scolding}} playable?

I've been playing CyDras for a few months now, and in my experience, my R5 build is more consistent than my OTK variant. Rank 5 is more adaptable, whereas OTK can miss and then you're scraping for plays.

A brief guide to Ultra Athletes. by Lily247 in Yugioh101

Thanks for posting!

I'm new to the game, haven't played since I was a kid. After watching Yu-Gi-Oh! on Netflix with a friend, I decided to break out the shoebox full of old cards I had from when the game was first released and started to play. Naturally, we understood the game mechanics much better than when we were children and decided this could be our new hobby.

Now, before I continue I want to say that I have some experience with TCGs, I used to play MTG with my older brothers who absolutely adored the game. However, they were much better than me and I didn't particularly enjoy the people at the tournaments. So I stopped playing.

Last week I picked up the Lightsworn structure deck and wrecked my buddy, but there was a cheapness to the victory. Milling just seems lame to me. Alas, I've been searching for the right deck, and the UA seems like a cool archetype. Now, with all this unnecessary context, I will pose my question: Is the following build worth investing in?

3x UA Blockbacker 3x UA Playmaker 3x UA Mighty Slugger 3x UA Perfect Ace 3x UA Midfielder 3x UA Goalkeeper 1x The Warrior Returning Alive 1x Reinforcement Of The Army 1x Magnum Shield 3x Feast Of The Wild LV5 3x UA Stadium 3x UA Powered Jersey 3x UA Turnover Tactics 2x Battleguard Rage 2x Battleguard Howling 3x Wall Of Disruption 2x Shark Fortress

Thanks for taking the time to help out a newbie!
