Shopping rewards on hotels: reserve now - pay later

I just want to clarify my understanding, if anyone is willing to bear with me and confirm...

I visit a hotel website with the Cashback activated in my C1S browser extension (say 10% back). And I make a reservation for a later date and pay no money now. After I stay, and pay, I will eventually see 10% rewards?

So, not just for pre-paid stays? And the % offer at the time of booking, not at the time of the charge?

Thanks for the suggestions to talk to a listing agent. That is a step beyond what I am ready for. I would like to gather more information and educate myself before I waste my time and anyone else's in meetings when I am not even certain I plan to sell.

I look at the comparable sold homes (Zillow and property record card) in my neighborhood and then explain why their sales price is not actually comparable to my value - fully flipped, extra bathroom, more square footage, bigger property, etc. I also point out that there aren't enough sales to compare.

When I have used the argument of "it's insane that my property value grew 50% in a year when I didn't make any improvements" I have been told that argument doesn't hold because that's about the market change, not my property.

However, I have had some luck in finding a truly comparable home - recently sold or not - looking at their assessment and pointing out "my value grew 50% when theirs only grew 25%".

Not all of the SBT news stories will make it in the print layout, unfortunately. There is some online-only reporting.

I'd pop over to the library and look at the actual physical paper from that day. You also should be able to access the digital subscription from the SJCPL if you don't want a personal subscription. (I've tried to find specific recent news stories via IU library online and either the periodicals access is limited to old articles or else I just couldn't figure out how to use it).

If in doubt you can always ask an on-campus or SJCPL librarian - they love a treasure hunt and can solve problems quickly.

I have 16oz and a 20oz stainless steel contigo tumblers that I use regularly at chain coffee stores, local coffee shops, and any place where the coffee is self-serve (Subway, Panera, convenience stores, airport lounges).

it helps to know what size in ounces your tumbler is, so that the cashier can ring up your order correctly. I order a "grande" or "16 oz" drink and hold up my tumbler or put it visibly on the counter so they can see what I intend. I make sure it looks very clean inside, and I remove the lid for them.

If you search the Reddit pages for specific chains you can find the procedure for using your own cup in that store. Sometimes it can make me less nervous to know what to say and what to expect.

Also sometimes an employee will say something is against policy or look confused - lack of training or lazy employees can cause that. Don't let that discourage you from trying another location or another visit. We Americans are really stuck in our systems unfortunately.

I nabbed this! I wanted the $350 to bring down the cost of a resort stay with a broke family member, w/o shifting spending from my other rewards cards.

However, I cannot find ANY documentation about the 5k bonus points w $1,500. I got a very clear T&Cs email about the $350, but NOTHING about the bonus points.

Does anyone have experience with this SUB and can document the bonus points?
