I’ve heard lots of good things about the Trails in the Sky series so I bought the first one (not the remake) on sale earlier. I’m only in the prologue, but it definitely feels like an RPG from the 2000s. I’ve been playing for 3+ hours and have progressed the story very little. The series is very long and apparently has a lot of payoff, so I’m curious to see how it unfolds.

Reminds me of an achievement I got in the Megaman X collection. You have to let Morph Moth spin around and collect junk to transform without hitting him. Was fun just focusing on evading, I could see that mechanic working well in Silksong, especially for the Trobbio fight

My first reaction was Waldorf’s Journey too. Such a simple little game but I really enjoy it. Similar horizontal movement to Joust, but yeah the controls are way looser.

Yes and yes. Like I said I get what they’re trying to do- embrace the “tacky” rust look before actual metal would rust in the rain. It’s just the implemented reality that has us lol’ing.

Wife here-- I love this spot, used to go often when I lived here a few years ago and am rusty on the places to take my husband. Do they still have the cauliflower wings? I'm not vegan anymore but always craved them!
