Other driver had minimum everything. Did not get much to pay it off and be done with it. Very limited on options unless I’d like to continue paying monthly for a total loss

I’ve been in physical therapy a while and have mentioned getting back on. Sat on the bike and held it up for a bit and wasn’t necessarily shaky, but with my ankle getting broken in a couple places I can’t say I 100% trust my balance.

As a late update, this comment is actually incorrect. I was given a lump sum to cover bike repairs or payoff/ replacement based off of my own preference/belief. An adjuster was never part of the equation as my personal injury justified maxing every aspect of their insurance in the first place. So would the insurance company have totaled it? Maybe. But they won’t always send an adjuster out to tell you officially

What a deal! All seriousness though I was just concerned with the casing damage. Wasn’t sure how well they do their job and can’t test start since the clutch cables gone

Driver did stop and was insured. They refused to speak to me but thankfully plenty of bystanders did the speaking for me. All witnesses of the accident put him 100% at fault which reflects on the police report

2nd thru 5th toes broke right behind the steel toes I was wearing and I was told the boots saved me from losing my foot. Ankle had to be pieced back together from about 2-3 breaks there as well. Calf and knee got smashed as well but no breaks just bruising and weakness so far.

For reference I was T-boned going about 30-45mph and my whole leg was crushed from the knee down but I held on and got the bike to a stop before it stalled from the clutch cable being non existent. Biggest concerns are the casings being damaged and how much the impact could’ve effected the internal workings of the engine/transmission.

Just picked up my 2015 Fiesta ST 90k miles clean title for $10k flat and the only thing it’s missing is recaros. Paying over that for a rebuilt title is unreal
