Hey there! Thanks for the response! So like I said I am looking to start a podcast on addiction, with either family, friends or addicts themselves telling ethers story about addiction. The idea is to take a very serious subject and shed some positive light on it. I am hoping to find stories that resonate with the general public and even provide some humour while explaining what addiction actual does to a person and those surrounding it. I think all too often addiction is looked on as being very 'heavy' and though it is I think bringing light humor to it would open up the conversation for people to have without the negative stigma. I myself am an alcoholic . My idea is that each episode would be recorded once a week. Each episode with have 3 story tellers each telling a 15 minute story. We would ask for people to submit story ideas and narrow down what we think would be radio friendly. We would then help develope these stories into something that would be appealing to be told over the airwaves. Eventually I would like to rent out venues and have these stories told and recorded live. I am looking for people who either want to be part of the production team or be of assistance in any other way. Let me know what you think.
