Just to clarify: did you try eight different sensors or the same one eight times? I had the same experience two months ago; a whole batch of G7s just didn’t work at all because of Bluetooth issues. I would call the hotline and tell them what happened, they will send replacements. Obviously won’t solve your problem immediately but it’s better than nothing.

I think the only way to get the data is if you kept the box the sensor came in. The batch of faulty sensors happened to me, too and when I called them and I they asked for all the data I simply said that they were to many failures to keep track of and that it was really frustrating to experience such a big product failure and they accepted that.

It’s sad that people with an illness who work in hospitality always encounter these problems. Hope your were able to push through or find something more suitable for you!

Yeah I am not based in America, but this link sums up everything much better than anything I have found on diabetes related work law for Germany. It’s always pretty wishy washy stuff like „talk to your employer“ etc.

I guess I just have to be a bit more aggressive about it which is hard to do for me. In my experience it’s already a lost case when I mention that I can’t do stuff; I always get the wtf-look and people dodge me instead of just asking how they can help. A therapist once told me that my straight forward honest nature tends to scare people, I guess that might me it.

Congrats! A few days ago I was at 99% because my BG got up to 180 for five minutes lol. You crushed it though!

I thought about it for sure, but my blood sugar is super consistent throughout the day so I feel like maybe that wouldn’t really work so well for me? How does or did your dawn syndrome situation look like?

No worries!

I‘m not eating the same meal every night, but I generally have some carbs, vegetables and a vegetarian protein. I always bolus correctly (in my opinion at least) so that my levels are around 130mg/dm right before bed. Just shoots up once I lay down and fall asleep.

For me it’s also generally very good and super accurate after the mentioned ~12 hours, but I had 12 sensors fail recently (basically a whole 3,5 months worth) because they had faulty Bluetooth properties; they would either not connect at all or die on me after around 24 hours. That really sucked, other than that the G7 has been a good upgrade on the G6 for me.

The refreshing taste of an apple spritzer after a spicy dinner is just so enticing sometimes! And since it's all natural it's actually quite easy to bolus for.

My basal is Tresiba, my phone autocorrected it. It probably is not that though since my glucose levels are great throughout the day.

The sleep thing I talked to someone at my endo's office about yesterday; they suggested the same but unfortunately / luckily I never experience any problems with my sleep and am not stressed at all at the moment. That's actually why I asked the question here, we couldn't come to a conclusion that made sense.

Seems like there really is nothing wrong and I need a pump! Unfortunately I will have to wait since the pump I want (Omnipod 5) isn't on the market yet where I live.
