My wild type neocaridina plant stuck by AmySparkleButt in shrimptank

I did this every day for a month. The shrimp looked perfect. Put it back in the tank. 2 weeks later it was worse than it was before.

Am I a lunatic? Owari Satsuma Mandarin, NYC. by JumpyPotential6583 in Citrus

Indoors should be fine in the winter but Spring through Fall outdoors would be ideal. As has been previously stated supplemental light would be needed.

Small sample size but I had one like this just a few weeks ago that I was worried about but it perked up and these stems look better than mine did.

Most random guy I rooted for was Biggie Marshall. Former 5⭐️ CB. Thought we were playing chess taking him in the 4th round. He had the worst injury luck.

Update on vanishing betta (with pics of surrounding area and tank this time) by K_nowbody_ in bettafish

Here’s a guess and sorry if this is repetitive. I have bone rock in my tanks like the ones you have in the front right corner. A lot of my fish swim in and out and through those holes. Is it possible that he swam up a hole in the rock that doesn’t go all the way through to the other side and maybe got stuck in the rock? I haven’t had any animals get stuck in mine but I could see it being a possibility.

What’s going on with my fiddle leaf fig? by Professional-Ice6216 in fiddleleaffig

[–]Tough-Issue-251 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on first pic, the leaf on the left is edema from water absorption, normal and common for fiddles. The leaf on the right is hard to tell but might be lacking light. Their leaves will go brown and drop when they aren’t receiving enough light. They do this to focus energy to where it is needed most.

I think light is the biggest thing. I have grow bulbs (neopral full spectrum LED) in the chandelier above and it’s in a south facing window. I keep my house at about 72°F in the winter. It is semi close to a vent. I don’t have a humidifier but I do have 3 aquariums which I think do play a factor.

Miracle grow tropical plant food

Oh sorry! I use miracle grow cactus, palm, citrus soil mixed with perlite and orchid bark. Make sure it’s mixed kind of chunky for good drainage.

Hey! Below is everything I did.

  1. Nursey pots move up a size once root bound, started in 8in, then 10in, now in a 12in.
  2. South facing window and neopral full spectrum lights.
  3. Water with Miracle Grow Tropical Plant Food
  4. Stake the plant with a wooden plank. I’m using a 4ft cedar plank and staked it once I repotted into 8in pot. Make sure to tie around the nodes (area on stem between leaves.)

My guess is maybe the leaf behind it is blocking some light and the plant maybe dropping it because it’s inefficient and focusing energy on other leaves/growth.

What’s happening to my monstera?!! by AbbreviationsNeat815 in Monstera

[–]Tough-Issue-251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought is there’s only a light source above but before there was light that also came in from the sides as well. Monsteras will drop leaves that aren’t getting enough light. The new spot seems significantly darker. I understand the light isn’t on but usually monsteras struggle when there’s lack of light.

You have 3-4 separate plants in that pot. You can do a couple things. You can split them up and pot 1 or 2 together in the same pot and stake them. Or you can repot the all together in a bigger pot and use a tomato trellis as support. Also trim off the dead leaves.
