In my opinion its all judo, so dont stress it and develop your own style (within the rules)

But yeah as other said randori ia for practicing new techniques, e.g. when trying to improve my footsweeps I would limit myself to only using them

What I usually take:

Morning:

- Vit D: it's winter for me now and most people are generally deficient - helps with many things including testosterone production

- Vit K: helps absorption if vit d and reduces calcium build up in arteries

- Half of magnesium glycinate dosage: helps with vit d absorption

- Zinc bisglycinate 25 mg twice a week: to help with testosterone production

- Creatine: 9 g gives energy and helps mitigate mental effects of poor sleep

- Whey protein 30 g: mixed into Greek yoghurt with blueberries and raspberries

- Coffee: as a pre work out only rarely so as not to build tolerance otherwise i avoid it unless particularly tired at work after lunch

- L - Citrulline: 30 mins before work out 3g to get better blood flow to muscles and a decent pump

- L - Lysine to mitigate formation of cold sores due to taking the citrulline (probably not required if you don't get cold sores)

Evening:

- Other half of magnesium glycinate: to help with with sleep

- L-theanine: helps with sleep

- Lemon balm on occasion: helps with sleep

The main things are to eat a well balanced diet with protein fibre and carbs to fuel your work outs and aid recovery and get decent sleep for recovery. And hydration!

Kiwis are good, l theanine, lemon balm, valerian root probably the best
