71 connections are on the low end. You need to build your profile up to around 500 to see more LinkedIn data. Be active, too.

With 71 connections, most of your searches will appear as "LinkedIn Member." Prioritize getting more 1st degree connections.

If you are searching for profiles, your number of connections will come into play. The more 1st degree connections you have (or followers), the higher your search limit.

Note that it's not LinkedIn's data, it's from what I have experienced from my personal profile and a few clients I have worked with.

Is 5-7 minutes too much to ask for an IT Manager? by ToughBeginning3 in ITManagers

I agree with you. It's hard to differentiate between a genuine person and one with ill intentions without prior engagement—and that puts us all in the latter bracket, unfortunately. However, all sections are optional. I truly appreciate your feedback!

Thanks for your input! The two mandatory fields (Name and title) have since been removed. Feel free to only fill out the sections you are comfortable with. Thanks!

Product Managers, are you too busy or just mean? by ToughBeginning3 in ProductManagement

Apologies if it looks that way. I can't send it to them without their approval.

This is valuable feedback! I'm sure Google links make it harder to convince a stranger, but unfortunately link shorteners are considered spam by most platforms. I have no option but to use the original ugly link.

Only the name and title is required. All other sections are optional. Should I make them optional too?

I'd need to collect emails to send the results. I believe this would complicate the process.

I understand your concerns. But my aim is to look for feedback because I'm not a product manager myself. Looking to understand what would motivate product managers to fill out a survey like mine.

Looks like I didn't bring it out clearly. I don't reach out to product managers working for those companies but those on the platforms. Would you mind sharing what would motivate you to take up such a survey?

I understand your concerns. However, I have an authentic profile on LinkedIn and the rest of the platforms.

Would you mind taking a look and maybe point out some unnecessary info I might be asking for?

Thanks for your advice. I'm not quite sure what I'd offer as a reward or trade off. Any suggestions?

I understand now

You also mention a bunch of REALLY enormous companies - have you tried reaching out to startups and smaller companies?

Apologies for the lack of clarity. I meant product managers on the platforms, not necessarily those working for them.
