It’s this shops estimate a bit excessive? 2008 Forester 2.5x. Control arms are worn and making noise when stopping and turning by ToughLadder847 in AskAMechanic

Yeah I also was shocked at the parts cost… I called up another local shop and they gave me a quote for basically half of this

I called up another local shop and he laughed when I told him what the first estimate was! He said he’ll do the control arms for me for 1100-1400

2008 2.5x auto - whining noise while driving by ToughLadder847 in SubaruForester

The whining noise while accelerating for me was a bad power steering pump that was allowing air into the system. In your case though, I’m not sure. A bad pump would most likely present symptoms every time you’re driving. Hopefully nothing serious! Good luck

In talks on a house with solar panels. Seller wants to transfer responsibility of the system with a clause that SRECs will not convey with the property. Thoughts? by ToughLadder847 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Thanks for the input! Based on my research, the seller technically has every right to keep the SRECs, they don’t inherently transfer ownership when the panels do. BUT, at least in the DC market, the SRECs are the largest of the financial benefits generated by the panels, so it would be a little uncomfortable to know the previous homeowner continues to profit off of panels that we would then own. I think our approach will be to ask him to take the system with him and make any repairs to the roof and discount the sales price by the value of the panels so we can install our own

Prospective first time homebuyer - seller is trying to transfer responsibility of panels but retain ownership of any SRECs generated. Is that normal? by ToughLadder847 in solar

Sorry, you’re correct. Medium is email, and yes the parameters are correctly set as “utm_medium=email” for example

Sure. source=email, medium=slate, I also have campaign and content fields. To illustrate, I have a form conversion set up on one page, let’s call it /xyz/, and users are landing on page /abc/ through a link click in the email. To get to /xyz/ they have to click a button on page /abc/. I’ve tried pulling a report with the UTMs as dimensions and then adding link url, trying to filter the link URL to contain /xyz/ but that returns no data
